Sandi Robinson serves as Director of Sales & Marketing for The Olympia Companies overseeing the sales and marketing team and day-to-day operations for SOPHY Hyde Park. Robinson recently joined the SOPHY team in Feb 2024. Prior to joining, she served as Director of Sales & Marketing for Oxford Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the sales and marketing teams and day-to-day operations at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago for 10 years. Joining the team as the senior events manager but after two quick years was promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing.  Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association recognized Robinson as the Department Head of the Year in Chicago as a part of the 2019 Stars of the Industry awards, and Chicago Defender recognized her as one of 2018’s Women of Excellence. Robinson also made Michigan Avenue Magazine’s “The List” of local influencers in Fall 2019. In 2017, Robinson was awarded HSMAI’s Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year, which recognizes excellence, creativity, and leadership in hotel sales.

With more than twenty years in the hospitality industry, Robinson has mastered the craft of building strategic relationships and finds the most joy in her work when her clients and guests are happy with their experience. Before joining Oxford Hotels & Resorts, Robinson served as the executive events manager for the Dana Hotel and Spa. In her four years at that property, she focused on corporate events for Vertigo Sky Lounge, where she increased sales by 60 percent during her first year. Prior to the Dana Hotel, she worked in event sales for several brands, including the Four Points by Sheraton Chicago, Holiday Inn Hillside, and Spirit of Chicago.

Robinson prides herself on being an integral part of the Chicago community in hospitality and beyond. She is on the board of directors for the Chicago Loop Alliance and Choose Chicago Foundation (Chicago Convention Bureau). Robinson is also an ambassador for Choose Chicago, a Co-Chair of the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association (GNMAA) Lights Festival Committee, and has previously served as a board member for the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association. Robinson is also a co-founder of local non-profit ChiGivesBack which inspires, empowers and influence people to give back in their own communities.
