#Teach2Give was launched in 2019, and its impact has been steadily growing. To date, we have honored over 250 Chicago Public School teachers, providing them with valuable classroom resources and decoration kits. This program has directly benefited more than 6,750 CPS students.
Congratulations to the #Teach2Give class of 2023
In August 2023, ChiGivesBack honored 41 selected Chicago Public School teachers for our annual #Teach2Give Honors. #Teach2Give supports educators knowing they ultimately have to dip into their personal finances to build a positive and impactful classroom setting for their students.
This year, we are excited to announce the expansion of #Teach2Give to include nominations for all Chicago educators. Selected teachers will receive classroom resource and decoration packages valued at $250, aimed at enhancing the learning environment for their students. #Teach2Give has generated over $55,000 in resources to support local educators who are committed to building great learning environments, which starts with the aesthetics of the classroom.
