Labor of Love
Labor of Love will happen on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026
Every year, ChiGivesBack host Labor of Love where we provide free haircuts and school supplies to Chicago Public School students as they return to school. By partnering with local Barbershops located on the South and West sides of the city, Labor of Love helps to ensure that students are prepared to return to school the following Monday. In 2025, we distributed 1,500 backpacks, 200+ haircuts and hairstyles, free pediatric health screenings, and free dental exams. Labor of Love is part of our #Teach2Give initiative, supporting Chicagoland School teachers and students.
