PRESS RELEASE: PepsiCo and ChiGivesBack partners to provide Gatorade for Chicago Urban Prep's football team

ChiGivesBack, Inc. and PepsiCo partnered to surprise the football team at Urban Prep Academies Campus with Gatorade for their upcoming season. This development transpired after Kouri Marshall, a ChiGivesBack Board Member randomly met members of the football team at a local store as the players were making individual Gatorade purchases ahead of their football practice. 
 
ChiGivesBack contacted PepsiCo regarding these players and the plan was made to donate the players a seasons supply of Gatorade.  This is a part of a continued partnership between ChiGivesBack and PepsiCo to uplift the local community via product distribution.

As high school sports programs face many challenges, we're excited to partner with ChiGivesBack to support the young student athletes at Urban Prep High School," said Armando Saleh, PepsiCo Government Affairs Director.

ChiGivesBack and PepsiCo delivered Gatorade, practice towels and other items to the Urban Prep Campus Football Field located at 521 E. 35th Street, Chicago, IL 60616 on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
